Strong, Spicy Aroma!

The Yarrow 'Paprika', Achillea millefolium, is an upright gold centered, fading to light pink & creamy yellow, Yarrow that blooms from June through September.

With fern-like aromatic silvery to gray-green foliage, it is considered to be one of the best yarrows in any landscape.

The foliage has a somewhat strong, spicy aroma, which persists when used in dried arrangements.

This Yarrow does well in average garden soils, but prefers lean, dry to medium wet, well-drained soil. (Avoid heavy clays and moist, rich, fertile soils.) Yarrow should be planted in full sun and is tolerant to hot humid summers.

'Paprika' is excellent for cutting, fresh or dried. Remove faded flowers regularly to promote continued blooming. Inclined to spread, so site this carefully or plan to reduce the clumps each spring.

For an attraction to butterflies, deer and rabbit resistant, one can't go wrong with this plant.
