"Push the easy button" with the Summer Pollinator Pocket Garden (Pycnanthemum virginianum, Rudbeckia subtomentosa, Echinacea purpurea, Aster laevis) from LetsPlantify.com. Our plant experts have chosen these easy-care native plants to add visual interest and support local pollinator populations.

You won't have to guess which plants will pair well with others. Feel confident that these gorgeous native plants will grow into a coordinated whole...with just enough contrast to keep your interest year after year.

Each 12-pack pocket garden comes with four different plants, and you'll get three of each kind of plant. You'll receive three Mountain Mint, Sweet Black Eyed Susan, Purple Coneflower, and Smooth Blue Aster plants to create a paradise with a variety of flowers.

Use these sustainable native plants to achieve the look you want, from contemporary casual, to bohemian to classic country. You can even use them as part of a cutting-edge modern Xeriscape.

Rely on the long-lasting, white blooming clusters of Mountain Mint to become a sophisticated mainstay of your Pollinator Garden. It's absolutely amazing how much activity these fragrant flowers generate.

Each nectar-rich bloom cluster is composed of dozens of tiny flowers. Butterflies will gather nectar from these plants every day for many hours!

The bold charm of Sweet Black Eyed Susan adds so much color and easy-breezy style to your flower gardens. Enjoy the sunny yellow rays emerging from the dark purple centers.

You'll get months-long "flower power" with these wonderful flowering perennials. They'll accent your planting with happy color.

Another spectacular contrast comes from the addition of our beloved, rugged, native Purple Coneflower. The form is striking, with slender purple petals drooping below an orange, rough-textured cone.

These noteworthy prairie plants become very durable and low-maintenance once their roots are established in your soil. Leave the Coneflowers standing over winter to feed their seeds to your local songbirds.

Watch for chrysalis of the cute Ottoe Skipper, as this is their host plant. What a thoughtful choice!

The round, yellow discs and beautiful lavender-blue petals of the Smooth Blue Aster will make you smile each time you see them. They stand tall and proudly display hundreds of blooms from late summer to mid-fall.

Native Asters are so important to migrating butterflies, because they are a late resource of nutritious nectar. With their flat, open blooms, they make it easy for pollinators to collect nectar.

This is an elegant native perennial that you'll be able to count on for years and years. They'll perform beautifully for you in either full sun or partial shade. This kit will help support and attract butterflies and other native pollinators. Its bright, beautiful flowers will bloom in your garden throughout the summer for everyone's enjoyment.

How to Use Summer Pollinator Pocket Garden in the Landscape

It's a joy to create a new garden bed! Each of these Pocket Gardens contains 12 plants. You'll get four of each of these wonderful plants.

Spend time drawing out your design on paper first. Think curving lines and repeating patterns for a loose, natural feel.

You can work with a formally symmetrical plan, if you like. The cheeky use of wildflowers in a structured setting feels very modern. Replace your annual bedding plants with native perennials.

Bound your Pollinator Garden with landscape timbers or a dry rock wall. Use locally sourced materials as a sustainable choice.

Create a raised bed, or use a series of large planters. Or, remove sod and carve out some space from your front yard.

Prepare your planting bed by loosening the soil. You'll want to have plenty of mulch on hand to finish things off once you are done planting.

Use tall Black Eyed Susan as the star of the show, creating a loose triangle or "ribbon" of color. Plant them 18 inches apart on center, measuring from the center of one to the center of the next.

Add the Purple Coneflower and Smooth Blue Aster to support the design. These cool-toned blooms will become a respite in the planting design.

Use Mountain Mint as a generous "Filler" to weave its way around the other plants. It will soften the entire design with beautiful white clusters of sweet-smelling flowers.

Our native plants perform well in much of the country with very little care. These rugged plants tolerate high heat, humidity, partial shade and cold. The planting will just get better and better every year.

#ProPlantTips for Care

These Prairie plants will tolerate all day sunshine, but also thrive with dappled afternoon shade. Give them at least four hours of sunshine for the best flowering and the sturdiest stems.

Add a packet of Root Booster to your order, and you'll appreciate rapid development of your special Pocket Garden. Our plantsmen recommend this time-tested, effective soil improvement, which helps plants over their entire life cycle.

Water carefully during the first season with a regular amount of water each week. Once their long, Prairie roots are well-established in your soil, they'll become waterwise. We do recommend that you protect your investment with water during long periods of drought.

Use a two-inch layer of mulch between plants and keep new beds weeded. Mulch breaks down to condition your soil naturally, so plan to reapply regularly.

Feel free to cut the blooms after they are fully open and pop them in vases for fabulously rustic indoor arrangements. By doing this, you'll encourage a new flush of blooms, and gain a lovely decoration for your home at the same time.

Please leave the last of the Coneflowers standing! In early spring, snip the dried stalks to an inch above ground level. Compost them, or add to your municipal yard waste program.

Enjoy this carefully curated pollinator plant collection from LetsPlantify.com. You'll feel great about your choice in establishing essential habitats for butterflies and other pollinators.

Let this become a life-long passion project! Add Summer Pollinator Pocket Garden as a wonderfully easy-to-maintain garden feature this season.
