Music porcelain garlic is probably the most popular hardneck variety out there. One taste, and you will know why! This porcelain type garlic produces large cloves that have a medium spiciness, with a rich musky flavor. The bulbs are smooth and tightly wrapped, usually white or cream colored. While you may only get a small number of cloves per bulb, typically 4 to 5, they are quite plump and easy to peel.

Porcelain garlic: Porcelain garlic is a hardneck garlic variety, perfect for any beginner. Easy to grow, porcelain types are known for long storage and easy cleaning. Massive bulbs have great flavor and are a real treat to cook with in the kitchen. Suitable in most climate, except extremely warm areas, porcelain garlic is a great choice for northern growers as they are very cold hardy.

About our garlic: Our garlic bulbs are naturally grown on Amish farmland in central Ohio and Eastern Illinois and should produce an excellent harvest for you. Divide the bulbs into separate cloves and plant individually. Space cloves 2 to 4 inches apart in rows 6 inches apart, grow in full sun, in well drained loose organic soil. Harvest when tops start to dry.
