Iris Beverly Sills, Iris germanica 'Beverly Sills', features uniform coral pink self with lacy edges and impeccable form. An extremely fast grower and very heavy bloomer, 'Beverly Sills' blooms early to mid season.
Still one of the most sought after Irises today! It is the winner of numerous awards including an Honorable Mention Award 1981, Award of Merit in 1983 and Dykes Medal in 1985.
It prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun, but will tolerate some afternoon shade. This Iris needs plenty of water throughout the season to continue to looks its best.
Iris 'Beverly Sills' is useful in many ways. Best used around pools, ponds and water gardens, and for mass plantings. It can also be used in difficult banks for preventing erosion.
Gather the large blooms for an extraordinary indoor arrangement. 'Beverly Sill's will attract pollinators but is very rabbit and deer resistant.
