A Frosty Wave
Hosta Arctic Blast, Hosta 'Arctic Blast', has leaves that are frosted blue with white undersides, and the leaf margins are wavy with twisted pointed tips.
Hosta 'Arctic Blast' has a vase-like, upright habit, and produces trumpet-shaped, lavender flowers that are produced on 30" scapes in midsummer.
'Arctic Blast' is a large hosta that originated as a cross of 'Komodo Dragon' x 'Elvis Lives'.

This hosta is a low care perennial that is ideal for shady positions.
Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5. Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots.
High-filtered or dappled sunlight is necessary for clean, healthy growth.
Morning sun is tolerable and will help to intensify the leaf colors of 'Arctic Blast’, but hot afternoon sun is usually deadly!
This hosta is most at home in shady, woodland settings and often works well as specimen or edging plants.
