For an outstanding display on a dwarf variety of Dogwood, try the easy-breezy charm of Creme de Mint™ Siberian Dogwood (Cornus alba 'Crmizam'). It's creamy-white, variegated summer leaves are complemented by bold, sassy, chartreuse stems in winter.

This small shrub looks great in spring, summer, fall and winter; no matter where you choose to use it in your landscape. And it's widely adaptable to even tough conditions, so you can count on it to perform beautifully.

The creamy-white and mint green leaves look so cool and refreshing in the heat of summer. Variegated plants add a subtle drama, brightening up your landscape without ever being gaudy or garish.

Instead, they are showy in a very sophisticated way. This improved variety brings a modern sensibility to any landscape. It works hard for you all year-long.

You'll delight in the beautiful visiting butterflies as they sip nectar from the flat-topped white flower clusters in spring. The flowers become tiny, blue-white berries and feed your local songbirds.

Creme de Mint also offers a lovely fall color display, as the white leaf margins color up, burnishing into a reddish pink. From top to bottom, the foliage covering the entire shrub warms up for the autumn season.

Once the leaves fall, you'll have another visual treat. Winter is perhaps Creme de Mint's best season with incredible, bold color on the young, dormant stems.

Chartreuse is an eye-catching mix of yellow and bright green. You'll definitely notice these fabulous stems against the drab, brown and white wintery mix. They absolutely pop!

Don't go another year without these wonderful shrubs ornamenting your landscape. Garden designers are on the hunt for this high-quality plant, and it's no wonder. It gives so much, stays nice and tidy and looks amazing in every season.

How to Use Creme de Mint™ Siberian Dogwood in the Landscape

There are several ways to enjoy this excellent variegated dwarf shrub. The most important thing to remember is to give it a place where it will shine.

Use a pair front and center, with one planted on either side of your front door. The yellow-green winter stems would be an amazing contrast against a gray, white or black exteriors.

Cut the yellow stems for winter arrangements. Add them to interior arrangements, or include them in exterior seasonal containers.

Create a low hedge that defines your space without overwhelming it. The dense branch structure and lush foliage provide a nice screen. Plant 3 feet on center, measuring from the center of one to the center of the next.

This easy-care shrub looks magnificent along a patio, or included in your mixed border. Use a long, undulating planting pattern to create a bright ribbon at the edge of a woodland.

If you have a lot of bare ground to fill, try Creme de Mint as a mass planting in commercial or residential landscapes. Use 3 feet on center spacing, and a zigzagging, staggered planting pattern. Mulch between the plants and keep new mass plantings weeded.

It won't be long before the plants grow together into a wonderful, eye-catching display. They tolerate salt, so feel free to use them to define your walkway near a busy street.

Try Creme de Mint in a Dogwood collection. The yellow stems can polish up a row of Red Twigged Dogwood. Use a single plant as an accent, or several plants to really boost the impact.

Add these to the sunny side of windbreaks and shelterbelts to soften and brighten the look. This wonderful, mid-sized shrub can even tolerate soil that stays wet on occasion. Place them at the outer edges of a Rain Garden for an excellent ornamental display.

#ProPlantTips for Care

Plant in full sun for the best results. Creme de Mint will grow in a partial shade position, but you'll get the best winter stem color with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day.

Creme de Mint will perform beautifully in well-drained soil. However, it is widely adaptable to most soils, including those that might be wet on occasion.

Provide a moderate amount of water on a regular basis. This is especially critical for young plants as they get established in your landscape during their first season.

Use the Finger Test to determine if your plant needs water. Push your finger into the soil to the 2nd knuckle near the base of the shrub. If the soil is moist, you can skip watering. If it is getting dry, it is time to get your hose out and water.

Keep your shrub maintained with renewal pruning. In fall, prune a few of the oldest, thickest branches down to the ground. You'll want to use these in your Holiday and winter decor!

Leave the young, thin stems for the best, brightest winter color. You'll love the bold look of these showy stems!

Creme de Mint Siberian Dogwood is an outstanding ornamental shrub. No wonder it's a designer favorite! Order yours today, these will be snapped up quickly!
