Wintergreen Boxwood will take full sun or partial shade across a wide range of growing zones. They appreciate dappled or part shade protection from the hot afternoon sun in the warmer climates. They have a nice, fibrous root system and transplant easily.

They prefer evenly moist, draining soils, but once established they can tolerate just about any kind of soil. They are also drought resistant once they are established in your native soil.
