Imagine a modern, narrow columnar tree or two in your landscape; covered in precious white blooms that last a long time in early spring. You'll enjoy lush green foliage all summer.
And fresh apples in fall!
Yes, Urban Apple trees grow straight upward, not outward. And they produce gorgeous, tasty round apples in fall.
Joining the huge Edible Landscaping trend has never been easier! You'll receive two trees per order.
For a single price, you'll receive one each of Blushing Delight™ Apple and Golden Treat™ Apple trees. They are a cross-pollination pair, so plant them nearby each other in your landscape.
Best of all, you can plant both of these modern columnar trees in the same space required by one, old-fashioned Apple tree!
How does it work? Well...simply put, the fruiting spurs grow very near the main leader, rather than reaching out horizontally like other varieties.
You'll have no problem using these skinny trees in any sunny spot in your landscape.
You can even grow them in outdoor containers! Store container trees for winter outdoors, or in an unheated shed or garage.
Now. no matter what size your place is, you can grow apples for yourself and your family and friends!
Red-blushed Blushing Delight apples are sweet, juicy and full-sized. Enjoy them as a fresh eating snack, juice them, or add to delicious salads.
Golden-skinned Golden Treat apples are full-sized and firm, with a slightly tart taste. Add them to cheese plates; or peel and prep them for cobbler, pies and tarts. It's great to have a baking apple outside your patio door!
Go ahead and make your sunshine work hard for you. Grow columnar Apple trees in your landscape, and enjoy the "fruits of your labor" in just about two years. Some people even report fruit the first year!

How to Use Blushing Delight™ and Golden Treat™ Columnar Urban® Apple Trees in the Landscape
Make a real statement with one of these trees flanking either side of your front entrance. Add a row of gorgeous Cabernet Splash Blueberries as a thoroughly up-to-date foundation planting.
Use these trees to define the entrance to your outdoor dining room. Your guests will be begging to pluck their own piece of fruit. Serve them sliced with artisan cheese and a drizzle of local honey.
Create a hard-working hedgerow by alternating the varieties 5 feet apart on center. Measure from the center of one to the center of the next. Order 2 or 3 sets to create a very effective privacy screen "with benefits".
Try them as a backdrop in your Victory Garden, or use them in a Children's Garden. You'll love watching the fruit develop from flower to finished.
#ProPlantTips for Care
All Apple trees need full sun to produce fruit. Give them at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day, and ensure they'll receive a good amount of air circulation. Pull them out away from buildings.
Provide a medium amount of water on a regular basis. This is especially important if you are keeping your trees in containers, or during periods of drought and as the fruit is developing.
Apples need well-drained soil. If you need to improve drainage, create a raised garden bed to plant in. Mound up soil to 18 inches high and 3 feet wide. Plant in that mound.
Mulch your Apple trees with a three-inch layer over the root system. Pull the mulch back several inches all around the trunk. Please don't let mulch touch the main trunk!
Lightly prune after flowering to correct the shape, if needed. If you have a very heavy harvest one year, thin your fruit to one piece per every four inches.
You'll be tempted to order a cowboy hat to wear as you harvest your ripe fruit in fall. Get your backyard orchard started this season.
