Blueberry Glaze likes a bit of afternoon shade in the USDA Growing Zones 7 and 8. Otherwise, they should thrive for you if they receive 6 - 4 hours of direct sunlight a day.

This variety needs good air circulation, and shouldn't be placed up against a window that will reflect light. Give it a bit of wiggle room, so the air can flow around it.

Blueberries require well-drained, acidic soil with a pH between 4.5 and 5.5. If you have alkaline soil with a high pH, or clay soil that retains moisture, try growing them in containers.

Plant them in acid loving plant soil mix. Use pathway bark or pine straw for about 25% of your total mix.
