The Navaho Blackberry produces an abundance of large, juicy, sweet, dark-purple to black fruit that ripens around the first of August and bears for one month. These berries are of excellent quality and are delicious fresh, baked into pies or preserved as jams and jellies.
Blackberries are very healthy and notable for their high nutritional contents of dietary fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, folic acid and B vitamin; also contains the essential mineral, manganese.
