Blue flower spikes will win you over!
Blue is one of those hard-to-pin-down garden colors. The perfect blue is different for every gardener. Do you want true blue? Sky blue? Deep blue? Bright blue? Lavender blue? Navy blue? Royal blue?
We don’t know how to help you sort all of that out, but we do know that whatever blue you lean toward, you will fall in love with the blue in new Azure Snow Salvia. Falling somewhere between sky blue and violet blue with a white lip, the flowers on this salvia come in masses all along the spikes on these hardy perennials.
Salvia is a solid garden performer that will give you years of good flowering with very little effort. They are especially nice when planted in big drifts, but they also look great interspersed between other perennials in the border. The spikes of flowers wave in the wind above neatly mounded green foliage that has a nice herbal scent. Plant it with yellow flowers, like False Sunflowers or Scotch Broom for a show-stopping effect.
This is a very easy-care plant. It is a reliable bloomer and grows in just about any climate.
When you order, make sure that you order more than one, because once you see it growing you will want more.
